World Book Day takes place on Thursday 7th March and we would like to invite you to join us in helping your child to make the most of this special occasion. Your child can dress up as any book character.
World Book Day celebrates the joy and value of books and reading, especially for children.
The children have requested we run the extreme reading challenge to see who can be photographed reading in the most unusual place. Please submit your photograph entry on or before Thursday 6th March.
Each class will be focusing on the books of a specific author for the day.
The authors are as follows:
- Class 1 – Julia Donaldson
- Class 2 – CS Lewis
- Class 3 – David Walliams
Every child will receive a £1 World Book Day Book Token that can either be exchanged for one of “TEN special £1 World Book Day books” or used to get £1 off any book costing £2.99 or more.
