Headteacher’s Welcome
Storth Church of England Primary School sits at the heart of our South Lakeland community, playing a central role in village life with strong connections to local groups and the Church. We are proud to be a welcoming, inclusive, and hardworking school, consistently achieving excellent results at the end of both key stages.
Our recently opened two-year-old provision, Little Herons, complements our vibrant Nursery and four additional classes, ensuring a nurturing environment for children from their earliest years. Across the school, pupils are supported by a dedicated and committed team of staff, alongside engaged parents and a supportive wider community.
We offer a rich and varied programme of extracurricular activities throughout the year, including two residential trips for our Class 4 pupils and a special in-school camp experience for other classes. Our active PTA warmly welcomes new members, helping to further strengthen our school community.
Sport and the performing arts play a key role in school life, giving every child the opportunity to develop and showcase their abilities. Pupils also take part in local dance, singing, and music events, weekly forest school sessions, and represent the school in the South Lakes Pupil Parliament.
We warmly invite you to visit us and experience first-hand the happy, vibrant atmosphere that makes Storth School such a special place to learn and grow.
