Times Table Test
You may be aware that there is a new test for year 4 children called the “Multiplication Tables Check”. This takes place in June. The test will judge how well each child knows their multiplication tables up to 12 x 12. It will involve an online test of 25 multiplication questions. The results will then be shared with us to help us best support the children, as they progress through the Y5 and Y6 maths curriculum.
I would like to invite you to a meeting to discuss the check and how you can practise the test at home with your children. I will also use this opportunity to show you a range of websites that can be used to support the learning of multiplication tables.
The short meeting will take place next Wednesday 15th March straight after school at 3.15 pm in Class 3 (Your child can attend after school club for free during the meeting). If you are unable to attend the meeting, the information will be emailed to you.
