New Term Arrangements

I hope you have all had a fabulous Easter and are enjoying the great weather with your families and loved ones.

We start school again on Monday (19th) and are really looking forward to seeing all of the children back with us. There will be a few changes to the arrangements in school which reflect the National picture I hope!

The Infants will now all be one collective bubble, which means that they can share the playground and be together again. The Junior children will remain as one, but I hope this will change after half term.

Drop off and pick up will also be different. All children can start arriving at school from around 8:45 am and can be dropped off in the playground by parents. We will have a rota of Infants and Juniors out on the playground first thing, but the “gate gang” will not be met anymore – they can simply walk into school on their own or be accompanied by an adult to the playground. Breakfast club and after school club will operate as normal, but with an infant and junior split.

Pick up for the WHOLE SCHOOL will revert back to 3:15 pm. Infant parents can pick their children up from the gate in the infant playground fence (outside the conservatory) at this time, but I would ask you all to observe social distancing as far as is practically possible. You are welcome to stand on the grass too.
Junior children can be picked up from the front of the school and they will leave school through the front door. Those children who are walking to the Heron Hall gate can continue to do so if necessary but parents are welcome to walk into the school from there too.

We will be monitoring how these arrangements work and will “adjust” them if we need to! Hopefully, by half term, we will be back to normal.

Any questions or concerns, then please contact me at any time.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday morning!

Best wishes
