1. News
Planning permission has been agreed for the new classroom!! Need just that last few thousand so hopefully the fundraising events below will meet this.

School Lottery January – £219.20
Christmas Fayre – £1353.66

Ongoing fundraising through the school lottery scheme, easy fundraising and smile amazon. Please do ask if you are not using these and wish to join the easy ways to raise money for the school.
3. Events
Australia Appeal Mufti Day – Friday 31st January
The PTA felt we should raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for them to be able to distribute directly to Australia, to help with the ongoing devastating bushfires. Your child/children can wear their own clothes for a donation of £1 per child please, with any additional donations gratefully received for this fund.
Easter Family Bingo – Friday 20th March 6pm to 8pm £5 per family (hot supper extra TBC)
Games/boards/markers – P Pearson/J Proctor
Door/book hall/chocolate donations request letter – G Spencer
Catering/Drinks – pie and peas with veggie option (to be confirmed who to lead on this)

Bags2School Collection Wednesday 29th April
All donations go to countries where they reuse/recycle our unwanted items to sell and make themselves a living. Top tip – shoes and boots help with the weight and final amount!!
Spring Fayre – Saturday 25th April 10am to 12pm
Discussed initial ideas for what the fayre will look like this term, any new ideas for stalls which can be run by anyone who would like to be involved please let us know!!

Charity Football Match/BBQ – Friday 5th June 5.30pm ?TBC
Ideas of getting more Dad’s/Grandad’s involved to arrange a football match of perhaps school parents/carers/children against Storth village etc. Lots of substitutions so all can play. BBQ as a family summer event. Maybe in fancy dress? Need more ideas to discuss this over coming meetings.
