Class 3 Forest School- Year 3 and 4
We will endeavour to venture into the woods every Friday starting 28th February until 20th March.
We are going to be using the Forest School area in Trowbarrow for our sessions this half term. This is a lovely woodland area near to where we have been taking part in some woodland management tasks with the AONB. We are very lucky to be able to use this unique, ecologically important environment for our sessions.
We will be playing games, learning about the woodland environment, making dens and any other activities the children are interested in.
We will be attending the sessions in all weather! (Please see below for Clothing and Weather Advice) I will be providing warm drinks and snacks and a shelter for rainy days, but please be aware that it can be very cold in the woods, therefore I would highly recommend lots of layers and ensure that your child has a hat and gloves. It can be very muddy walking to this area, so wellies are advisable.
