Books for South Africa campaign
You may be aware that the children are keen to support the Books for South Africa campaign. This involves sending old books out to South Africa where they are re-used in schools across the country. The idea is that any spare children’s books that are no longer required are shipped across at various times of the year for free by Hermes.
Mrs Goodfellow has arranged a pick up next Wednesday, 26th June, as part of this campaign. We have many old books ourselves, but would welcome as many as we can get to help bolster our donation. If you have any children’s books (fiction, non-fiction and especially text books) that are surplus to requirements and would be happy for these to be shipped out to South Africa to help the children out there, then could please drop them off at school as soon as you can – please just leave them in Class 3.
