Blencathra Field Studies Centre Residential.
As you may be aware, the whole of the juniors have the opportunity to travel to Threlkeld, Keswick for a 3 day 2-night residential experience! This will run from Wednesday 6th October – Friday 8th October. We will be staying in the centre itself with lots of instructor lead activities throughout our time there. The children will be accompanied by Mrs Goodfellow, Mrs Gibson, Mrs Ratcliffe and myself.
I must apologise for the very late notice, but we were uncertain ourselves as to whether or not the trip would be able to run. As a result, I am very happy to extend the payment period up until the week after half term.
The total cost of the residential will be £100 which includes all activities, the cost of the accommodation, the instructors, all food and the coach travel there and back. Payment can be made via BACS or to the office.
If your child is happy to attend the residential, then could you please return the permission slip BY FRIDAY, please? The Field Study Centre is not offering refunds, so any decision on whether or not to attend must be final I am afraid. The school has to pay the final invoice then too, so please talk to your child before committing!!!
