Auction – Saturday 6th July 2019
Storth Church of England Primary School is located in the heart of South Lakeland and is the centre of the village community, with strong links to village groups and the church. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, open and very hard working school with excellent results at the end of both key stages.
We have three classrooms and a vibrant Nursery that are supported by a very hard working and dedicated group of staff, parents and the wider community. We hold no end of extra-curricular activities throughout the year.
We are a small but vibrant PTA committee with a commitment to raising monies to make our small school great!
Our fundraising efforts this year will help contribute towards an extension, which would provide a new classroom and much needed space for our growing school.
The Auction of Promises will be Storth CE Primary School’s PTA big fundraiser for the Summer term and promises to be a really fun evening. We will be providing a bar and food, where you can relax and bid on a whole range of ‘Promises’, all donated by parents, staff and friends of the school.
We already have a number of generous ‘Promises’ but we still need more. Please have a think if there is something you could offer for Auction. The items on offer may range from theatre tickets and meals at local restaurants, to vouchers for theme parks. Other ideas could be tickets for sporting events, baking cakes, gardening, signed sporting memorabilia – the list could go on. Please let your imaginations run wild.
We hope you can offer your time, skills and services in the form of a ‘Promise’. Please don’t think there is nothing you can do… the offer of a couple of hours babysitting or ironing is a great money spinner! Maybe you have a particular skill or craft, or you know someone who has, and would be willing to support our schools.
Support from businesses would be fantastic to help make this night a great success. We hope that this event will be supported by past and present families of Storth CE Primary School.
We also need help to organise and run the event. If you are able to collect or manage incoming pledges or help on the night, please speak to Lucy Scott, Rebecca Boyd, Genevieve Spencer, Gemma Drinkall or Kelly Salt.
