Each year the PTA applies for a grant which is available from the village shop.

Storth Community Co-Operative is a group of volunteers which run Storth Village shop. The profits it makes from sales in the shop goes into the grant pot. Then each summer the committee give out grants to local community groups and charities. Over the years we have been given thousands of pounds.

We use the monies to pay for our school’s music lessons. This year we have been given £2000 grant of which approx. £300 will go towards the school extension fund.

The village shop is a great asset to this community but it relies on people visiting the shop and spending. It stocks all sorts of foodstuffs, milk, eggs, sweeties, gift cards etc. There is also the Post Office counter. Pop in and see if there is anything that takes your fancy and support our local shop.
