School Play and Celebrating Our Successful Ofsted Inspection
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our school play on Wednesday 8 July, which will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
Children should arrive at school by 5:45pm to allow time to get organised before the performance. Please do not bring children before 5:40pm.
Refreshments will be available throughout the evening, and we will also be holding a raffle. We would be grateful if families could bring their own chairs where possible.
We are also delighted to share the news of our very successful Ofsted inspection. Inspectors recognised the nurturing and caring environment that makes our school such a special place for children to learn, grow and thrive. Our Early Years provision received particularly high praise, reflecting the outstanding start that our youngest pupils receive.
Special recognition must go to Mrs Ireland and Mrs Stephens, whose leadership and dedication, alongside their talented teams, were highlighted throughout the inspection. Their commitment, expertise and care play a vital role in ensuring that every child receives the very best start to their educational journey.
I am also proud to share that we were one of only five schools in Cumbria to receive an inspection report that contained no areas graded as “Needs Attention”. This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff, governors, pupils and the wider school community.
