Langton Adventure Centre
Many thanks for the positive response to the summer residential. I am very happy to say that your child can come along! The camp is running from Monday 15th June until Friday 19th June and is based at the Langton Centre, Hartsop – https://www.langtoncentre.co.uk/
We have finalised the itinerary and are booked in. The proposed schedule will be:
Monday – Mountain biking and orienteering in Whinlatter
Tuesday – Ghyll scrambling and rock climbing in the Langdale valley
Wednesday – Lake cruise and a walk back along the Ullswater Way
Thursday – Sailing, kayaking and rafting on Ullswater
Friday – return to school via Lowther Castle.
Plus – lots of playing, nighttime stargazing and the mighty “Talent Show”!!
The cost of the camp will be £200, which includes all travel, tuition and instructors, entry fees, food and accommodation. We have kept the cost so low by utilising some of the school’s PE funding. This can be BACS’d across to the school or paid into the office. Can all payments be made by FRIDAY, JUNE 12th?
The children will be accompanied by Mrs Goodfellow and me at all times, with other staff members joining us through the week.
