Class 3 Heaves Farm Trip

On Thursday, 25th June, Class 3 will be visiting Heaves Farm in Levens to attend the Westmorland Agricultural Society Open Farm Day. We will be picked up by the coach at around 9.30am and should return to school at 2.30pm. There is no cost as it is a fully funded visit for local schools.

Children may wear their own clothes. It is forecast to be hot and sunny.

Please could you ensure that your child has a backpack-type bag with a waterproof jacket (in case of a thundery downpour), sun cream, a sun hat, a water bottle and a packed lunch. (Children who order lunches from Orion will need a home-made packed lunch.)  If possible, could children also wear strong trainers or walking boots, as we will be walking around a working farm?  

Children will be accompanied by me, Mr Hunt, Mrs Wilson and Mr Lenton.
