Year 1 and 2 Class Trip to Beatrix Potter – Wednesday 22nd June 2022
Dear Parents,
During World Book Week the children listened to stories by the author Beatrix Potter and learned about her life, we are delighted to be able to inform you of our educational visit to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness-On-Windermere. The children will be watching the new Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit Theatre Show and have entry into the exhibition. We will head to Brockhole for lunch and then play on the playground.
We will be leaving school just after 9 am, travelling by minibus and car, and will return to school at 3.15 pm.
The children are asked to wear school uniform, with a waterproof coat and comfortable shoes. If the sun is out please apply suncream in the morning before school.
Please either order your child’s packed lunch through Lunch Shop, or provide your child with a homemade one. Please also send any snacks and drinks.
In order for this trip to proceed, we need a voluntary contribution of £15.
If your child is in receipt of pupil premium grant, the school will fund this trip.
Please send any cash into school in a named envelope and either give to the class teacher or Mrs Barker in the office along with the consent form by Thursday 16th June alternatively you can BACS through payment.
