Hampers for the Raffles

As in previous years we would like to collect items for the Festive Hampers which form the main part of the Raffle at the Christmas Fayre and also the Raffles at the two Christmas shows. We have listed a few suggestions but obviously there will be lots more festive fayre out there! Christmas Pudding/Cranberry Sauce/Stuffing Mix/Gravy/Mince Pies/Biscuits for Cheese/Mulled Wine – let’s make them really festive! Asking employers and friends and family always generates lots of prizes……..

Chocolate Tombola, Raffle and Wine Raffle

The chocolate can be a box of chocolates or a small bar of chocolate or anything in between. It will be used for the Tombola. Boxes of Biscuits are always a good addition to a raffle. Bottles of Wine/Beer/Spirits will be used for the Wine Raffle or the other raffles we provide. Please do donate children’s bottles of soft drinks/milkshakes as we are running two separate bottle games this year.

Cake Stall, Christmas Crafts, Gifts & Toys

The cake stall is always very popular so please make some cakes if you can. Please bring them in on Friday 6th December if possible or just before midday on Saturday 7th December. Crafts, unwanted gifts, toys, books and DVD’s also sell well. These can be sent to school at any time/please label the bag where possible.

Jam Jar Tombola

Our new game last year was very popular so we are running it again at this fayre. We would like you to send in your Jam Jars (washed and no label) full of goodies that we would all like to win. Such as cards, small toys, sweeties, cosmetics, chocolates, etc – be creative as anything goes!

Santa’s Grotto

Father Christmas will be coming to the Christmas Fayre. Children will be able to visit him in his Grotto and receive a small Christmas gift. We would welcome any donations of Christmas Decorations for the Grotto as some of ours are a little tired.

Please remember we are a nut free school when buying any items for the fayre

There is no admission fee for the Fayre!

Donations for the stalls can be brought into school anytime, please leave them with Mrs Barker in the Office.

Information re setting up/helpers/stalls will be on the PTA notice board in the conservatory if anyone can spare anytime please put your name down.

If anyone can help by delivering Flyers or putting up Posters around the village or surrounding area then please let us know.

Thank you for your support, we are nearly there for the new classroom so let’s make this year’s fayre extra special.
