Cinderella at the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool.
As you are aware, the children from Year 1 to Year 6 will be travelling to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach to watch the production of Cinderella on Wednesday, December 17th. The production starts at 10:30 am so we must leave school at 8:30 am on Wednesday morning. The show should end at around noon so we plan on having our lunch in Blackpool before travelling back to school for our normal finish time. The children will need a school uniform, a PACKED LUNCH and water bottle for the day.
The PTA is very kind in paying the cost of the transport – with around 70 people travelling, this is a very generous gesture! The cost of transport is over £600, but we all feel that the children should be allowed to have the opportunity to travel to see events such as the panto with their friends and classmates. The school is happy to help in this cost, but we are having to ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 per child to help offset this cost. This can be through BACS or sent to the office.
