PTA Round Up
Hello everyone,
Following our recent PTA meeting, we’re excited to share a round-up of our fundraising so far and let you know what’s coming up next.
A round-up of our school year to date
Please find the full summary of the funds we have raised so far. Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve been able to purchase some fantastic items for the children and school, including:
· A new sound system
· Christmas present books
· Village Hall hire for the school plays
· A Christmas panto trip for Classes 2, 3 and 4
· Soft play and bouncy castle hire for the EYFS and Nursery Christmas party (which was an absolute hit!)

What’s on for the Spring Term?
🌸 Mother’s Day Hamper Raffle
Our popular Mother’s Day Hamper Raffle returns! We will be collecting raffle donations from the week beginning 2nd March. Items such as candles, toiletries, fragrances, chocolates, or any treats you think our special mums would enjoy are very welcome.
As a thank you, the children will enjoy a mufti day on Friday 6th March.
☕ Mother’s Day Cream Tea
Friday 13th March | 2–3:15pm | Storth School
Please join us to celebrate the mums in our school and community with delicious scones and a cuppa – let’s be honest, you’ve earned it!
· Tickets: £4 (on sale soon)
· Our Mother’s Day raffle will be drawn at this event
· We will also be launching this year’s Amble Cottage Raffle
🍫 Easter Egg Bingo Night
Friday 20th March | Heron Hall
Chocolate, bingo and fun – what more could you want? More information coming soon, but please save the date!
🐣 Easter Raffle Week
Week beginning 23rd March
This was a huge hit last year! We will be asking for donations of Easter eggs or chocolate (big or small) to create an exciting raffle for the children, with multiple chances to win across the week.
Please drop off donations by Friday 20th March.
🗺️ Easter Holiday Treasure Hunt
Your child can take part in an Easter holiday treasure hunt, with a prize for every completed sheet. These will be available to purchase in the last week of term.
We think you’ll agree it’s shaping up to be a fun-filled, sweet and chocolatey term!
Dates for your diary – Summer Term
· 15th May – School Sponsored Walk
· 20th June – Storth Stagger (a walk with your favourite tipple!)
Finally, if you’re unable to attend any of these events, please remember there is always the option to donate directly to the PTA. Your support helps us continue to provide free or discounted activities for the children, as well as much-needed classroom resources. A fundraising link will be shared soon.
